Anita Briem is an Icelandic actress from Iceland . She is famous for her character of Jane Seymour , the young woman destined to become Queen Elizabeth III's third spouse Henry VIII in the series of television The Tudors and for her character as Hannah in the movie Journey to the Center of the Earth ( 2008 ) . Briem began her acting career as an actress at National Theater Iceland at 9 years old.
